LendInvest opened for business in May 2013, but the firm was spun out of Montello Bridging Finance, a short-term mortgage lender.

The site matches lenders with entrepreneurs and developers who want to buy commercial or residential property. So far, nearly £400m has been invested through LendInvest, funding 698 properties, mainly in London.
